Found this recipe for champagne jello shots this past summer and said this is a must have for new years!! Then I found these cute little plastic champagne cups, and just had to add strawberries!! Happy New Years

1 package jello
1 c champagne (chilled)
1 c boiling hot water

Steps:

  • 1. Dissolve jello in cup of hot water, stir completely dissolve and let cool to room temp. Slowly pour champagne into jello mixture, stir slightly to combine. Pour into individual plastic cups, drop in cut strawberry and refridgerate for 4hrs.
  • 2. Also can be put in ice cube trays, after done dip tray in warm water to loosen and serve on platter in with tongs for serving.

Strawberry Jello Shots with Pop Rocks will be the hit of your next summer get together! The sweet strawberry flavor paired with the pop and crunch of pop rocks candy is just so fun!

2 envelopes unflavored gelatin powder
1 box strawberry Jello
1/2 cup cold water
1 cup hot water
2 ounces Kinky Red Liqueur (this has strawberry and watermelon flavors)
1/2 cup champagne
Pop Rocks

Steps:

  • In a small mixing bowl place unflavored gelatin powder.
  • Add 1 cup cold water.
  • Soak the gelatin for 2 minutes. Whisk until dissolved.
  • Add 1 cup of hot water and strawberry Jello to the bowl. Whisk until everything is dissolved.
  • Add Kinky Red Liqueur and champagne. Whisk to combine.
  • Pour Jello into small cups and place in fridge for about an hour, or until very firm.
  • Add Pop Rocks to the top of the Jello.
  • Eat these quickly because once the Pop Rocks stop popping,, you're missing out on the fun!
