2 tablespoons oil
1 lb round steak (or similar cut)
1 granny smith apple
1/2 cup apple cider
1/2 cup celery (chopped)
1/4 teaspoon thyme
1 can cream of celery soup
cooked rice (enough for 5)

Steps:

  • Cut steak into bite sized pieces, and trim off excess fat.
  • Saute until no longer pink.
  • Drain off oil.
  • Add all other ingredients.
  • Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer at least 20 min.
  • Serve over rice.
