SPOON ROLLS
I found this recipe in a cookbook that was sold by our local telephone company. It is great because I can make it up and cook the rolls as I need them.

Number Of Ingredients 6
Steps:
- Dissolve yeast in warm water (using wood or plastic spoon and plastic or glass bowl) Add remaining ingredients as listed.
- Grease muffin pan, or spray with pam.
- Fill each muffin space 1/2 full.
- Bake on 425 F.
- about 20 minutes.
- Mixture will be soupy and will not need to rise.
- If you don't want to bake all of these at the same time, the dough may be kept in the refrigerator for several days.
SPOON ROLLS

- In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Add butter, egg and sugar; mix well. Stir in flour until thoroughly combined (batter will be soft). Cover and refrigerate overnight. , Spoon batter into greased or paper-lined muffin cups. Bake at 375° for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pans to wire racks to cool.

SPOON ROLLS
These delicious Spoon Rolls are super easy to make!

Steps:
- Empty package of yeast into a large mixing bowl. Add the 2 cups warm water, 2 tablespoons sugar, beaten egg, 4 cups self-rising flour and melted butter mixing after each addition. You can do this with a mixer or a spoon. CAUTION: If your melted butter is hot, let it cool to warm before adding so as not to kill the yeast in the dough.
- Spray a 12 cup muffin pan with cooking spray. Fill cups 1/2 to 3/4 full. Let dough rise in pan about 20 minutes. (It won't rise a lot).
- Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 30 - 35 minutes checking for doneness as ovens vary. Makes about 18 muffins.
SPOON ROLLS

Steps:
- Dissolve the yeast in the warm water. Mix the butter and sugar with an electric mixer. Beat in the egg. Add the yeast and mix well. Gradually stir in the flour until smooth. Pour into a 2-quart, greased, airtight bowl. Store tightly covered in the refrigerator overnight.
- The next day, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease miniature muffin tins.
- Spoon the dough into the muffin tins and bake the rolls until browned, 18 to 20 minutes.
STEAMED DUMPLING SPOONS WITH SPECIAL SAUCE
Steps:
- For the dumplings:
- In a large bowl, combine ground pork, chopped mushrooms, scallions, ginger, soy sauce, sesame seed oil, and seasoning mix. Stir thoroughly.
- Place 1 tablespoon of filling on each wrapper and gather sides up to middle. Leave center of dumpling open. Tap bottom on counter so dumplings sit upright. To keep dumplings from drying out, cover with a damp paper towel until ready to steam.
- Cut a piece of parchment paper to fit bamboo steamer. Lightly spray with cooking spray and fit into steamer.
- Place dumplings in steamer and set on top of a wok or medium pot of boiling water. Steam for 6 to 8 minutes or until filling is cooked through.
- For the special sauce:
- In a medium bowl, stir together all Special Sauce ingredients.
- Serve dumplings on a Chinese soup spoon with a small amount of sauce.

Steps:
- Sprinkle the yeast over the warm water in a small bowl. Let stand for a few minutes so the yeast can dissolve. In a separate bowl, combine sugar, shortening, caraway, salt, and nutmeg. Heat the milk in a small saucepan just until a skin forms on the top. Remove from the heat and stir into the shortening mixture. Allow to cool to lukewarm so that it will not kill the yeast.
- Stir the egg and yeast into the bowl with the milk and gradually mix in the flour using a sturdy wooden spoon until the you get a stiff batter. Cover loosely and set aside in a warm place to rise until doubled in size, about 45 minutes.
- Grease the cups of a muffin tin, and spoon batter into the cups filling half way full. Let rise again in a warm place until the dough rises above the top of the cups, about 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Bake the rolls in the preheated oven until golden brown on top, 12 to 15 minutes.

- In a fry pan, brown beef with onion and garlic (if using); drain.

- In bread machine pan, place the first seven ingredients in order suggested by manufacturer. Select dough setting (check dough after 5 minutes of mixing; add 1 to 2 tablespoons of water or flour if needed). When cycle is completed, turn dough onto a lightly floured surface and punch down. Divide dough in half. Roll each portion to 3/4-in. thickness; cut with a 2-1/2-in. biscuit cutter. Place on lightly greased baking sheets. Brush tops with melted butter. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour. Bake at 350° for 10-15 minutes or until lightly browned.
