SPINACH ARTICHOKE DIP

Spinach Artichoke Dip image

Homemade Spinach Artichoke Dip is even better than the classic restaurant appetizer. It's hot, bubbly, cheesy, just begging for some crusty bread or tortilla chips.

Provided by Meggan Hill

Categories     Appetizer

Time 30m

Number Of Ingredients 8

8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
12 ounces marinated artichoke hearts (drained and chopped (see note 1))
10 ounces frozen chopped spinach (thawed and excess water removed (see note 2))
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese ((4 ounces))
Salt and freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
tortilla chips (or bread chunks for serving)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Coat a 9-inch pie plate or other baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  • In a medium bowl, add cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream and mix until smooth. Stir in artichoke hearts, spinach, mozzarella cheese, and salt and pepper to taste (I like 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper).
  • Spread evenly into prepared baking dish and cover with foil. Bake until hot and bubbly, about 35 to 40 minutes. Serve with tortilla chips or crusty bread.

AMAZING NO COOK SPINACH ARTICHOKE DIP

Amazing No Cook Spinach Artichoke Dip image

This dip was the result of endless combinations to try to come up with some dip that I didn't have to cook for work. Serve immediately or it is even better if you leave it in the refrigerator overnight. Store in nonmetallic air-tight container. The only kitchen utensil you need is a food processor. Best with pita chips, crostini, or some kind of chip with less salt.

EASY SPINACH ARTICHOKE DIP - NO BAKE

Easy Spinach Artichoke Dip - No Bake image

An easy, cold spinach artichoke dip, made in no time and perfect for vegetable sticks, crackers or as a bread spread.

Provided by Adina

Categories     Appetizer

Time 20m

Number Of Ingredients 8

9 oz fresh spinach (250 g, weighed after removing the stems (See note))
5.5 oz canned or jarred artichokes (150 g, I prefer jarred artichokes in olive oil)
1 garlic clove
1/3 cup cream cheese (3.5 oz/ 100 g)
1/2 cup creamy feta cheese (2 oz/ 50 g)
2 tablespoons Greek yogurt
½ tablespoon lemon juice (more to taste)
fine sea salt and black pepper

Steps:

  • Saute spinach: Remove the stems from the spinach. Weigh about 250 g/ 8.8 oz of the fresh spinach and chop it roughly if the leaves are large. Place them into a pot, add a splash of water and let the spinach wilt on medium heat for about 4 minutes, stirring a few times in between.
  • If using frozen spinach, you will need about 140 g/ 5 oz of it. Place into a saucepan and let thaw on medium-low heat, covered, and occasionally stirring for about 5 minutes or until fully thawed.
  • Squeeze: In both cases, place the spinach in a colander and let cool. Once cool enough to handle, take handfuls of spinach and squeeze them well in your hand in order to remove as much moisture as possible. Chop the squeezed spinach finely and give it to a bowl.
  • Artichokes: If using canned artichokes, drain, rinse well and drain again. Pat dry with kitchen paper. If using jarred artichokes in oil, drain them on kitchen paper and pat well to remove the excess oil. Chop finely and add to the spinach bowl.
  • Add the grated garlic, cream cheese, crumbled feta, yogurt, and lemon juice. Add some salt and pepper. Stir well and adjust the taste with more lemon juice (if necessary), salt, and pepper.

THE BEST SPINACH ARTICHOKE DIP

The Best Spinach Artichoke Dip image

This is our best version of the classic party dip. It's savory and creamy with a slight tang from sour cream and Parmesan -- so hard to resist. We like to use frozen whole leaf spinach and chop it ourselves for more control over the finished texture of the dish.

Provided by Food Network Kitchen

Categories     appetizer

Time 40m

Yield 6 to 10 servings

Number Of Ingredients 11

Nonstick cooking spray
8 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 clove garlic, grated
One 10-ounce box frozen leaf spinach, thawed, drained, squeezed dry and coarsely chopped (see Cook's Note)
One 14-ounce can artichoke hearts, drained well and coarsely chopped
1/2 cup shredded whole-milk mozzarella
3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
Crackers, chips or toasted bread, for serving

Steps:

  • Position a rack in the upper third of the oven and preheat to 350 degrees F. Spray a 1-quart baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Put the cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise and garlic in a large bowl. Mix vigorously until combined and smooth. (If you prefer, you can use a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment.) Add the spinach to the cream cheese mixture, breaking it up as you add it. Add the artichokes, mozzarella and 1/2 cup of the Parmesan, mixing to combine. Season with salt and pepper. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and top with the remaining 1/4 cup Parmesan.
  • Bake until the dip begins to bubble, 20 to 25 minutes. Turn the oven to broil and continue to cook, keeping an eye on it so it doesn't burn, until the top is golden brown, about 5 minutes. Serve warm with crackers, chips or toasted bread.

20 COPYCAT OLIVE GARDEN RECIPES - INSANELY GOOD

  • Olive Garden’s Alfredo Sauce. Put down that jar of sauce and step away! If you’re making alfredo, it really should be from scratch, and it really should be this Olive Garden recipe.
  • Olive Garden Chicken Gnocchi Soup. As if this creamy chicken soup isn’t already decadent enough, they went and threw in some pillowy gnocchi too! Genius!
  • Olive Garden Chicken Marsala. Chicken and mushrooms are a classic combination ,but add in some white wine, and you’ll have a winner! The chicken will cook in the pan along with the mushrooms and white wine, soaking up all that flavor to make every bite juicy and bursting with flavor.
  • Olive Garden Chicken Scampi. This one of the prettiest dishes on this list! The colors are amazing, and I love how simple it is. Rather than a heavy sauce, you get so much from the wine, cheese, and cream, without needing to drown the pasta.
  • Breadsticks Recipe (Olive Garden Copycat) How many times have you been to the Olive Garden and not had a refill of the breadsticks? Never, is my guess!
  • Olive Garden Toasted Ravioli. I know these are on the appetizer page, but I’ll often order them as my main course. You can make these at home using ready-made ravioli and breadcrumbs.
  • One-Pot Olive Garden Zuppa Toscana Soup. Soup has never looked so good! Did you know that this dish has bacon and sausage in the mix? Not to mention the potatoes, garlic, and creamy sauce.
  • Pasta e Fagioli Soup (Better than Olive Garden’s) This hearty soup is full of pasta and beef, and will fill you up right until dinner. I like to think of it as an Italian chili since there’s chopped tomatoes, veggies, and plenty of beans.
  • Olive Garden Salad Recipe. I have to admit that I’ve never had the Olive Garden salad before. If I’m eating at a restaurant, you’d better believe I’m ordering something bad for me!
  • Olive Garden Shrimp Scampi Copycat Recipe. Is there anything more appealing than a plate full of bright pink shrimp? They’re just so juicy and meaty, and they pair with everything from pasta to grits.

SPINACH & ARTICHOKE AL FORNO - MENU - MAGGIANO'S LITTLE ...
Spinach & Artichoke Al Forno - I am a fan of artichokes in apps. My favorite though it basically just grilling the artichoke and serving it to me as is. However, I was not impressed with this dip.
