CHEATER'S BANANAS FOSTER
This is a tasty non-alcoholic version of Bananas Foster that I encountered while at college and have adapted for when I want Bananas Foster but have no alcohol to make it with.

Steps:
- Slice up a banana into quarter inch slices.
- Then melt butter and brown sugar in a frying pan, making sure to stir as you do so.
- After a minute or so, add the sliced banana and stir to make sure the banana gets coated in the sauce.
- Let the banana fry, while you quickly scoop out ice cream into two bowls.
- Pour topping over ice cream and if desired garnish with whipped cream.
- Immediately serve.
SPIKED BANANAS FOSTER NICE CREAM
This nice cream isn't just made from regular old frozen bananas. It's made from rum-soaked bananas foster, for a slushie, cream-free, rum-filled frozen treat.

Steps:
- Cut bananas lengthwise, then cut each slice in half.
- Combine butter, sugar and cinnamon in a skillet. Cook over low heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
- Stir in banana liqueur, then place banana slices in the pan and cook until they start to brown.
- Add 2 ounces of dark rum and carefully tip pan to ignite.
- Wait until flames subside, then remove bananas from pan.
- Set two banana slices aside, then add remaining bananas to a blender and blend.
- Add up to 6 ounces dark rum and blend again. Make sure the consistency doesn't get too loose. Add 2-4 ounces of milk if using. Blend again.
- Pour the mix into freezer-safe tub and fold in a handful of nuts.
- Chill for at least an hour, or until set.
- Scoop into a bowl, garnish with reserved bananas and more nuts.
SPIKED BANANAS FOSTER ICE CREAM RUM NOG COCKTAIL

Steps:
- Add the butter, brown sugar, cinnamon and cream to a large skillet or saucepan over medium heat.
- Allow the butter to melt and continue to whisk while cooking until the sugar has melted and the sauce is smooth (about 3 to 5 minutes). You don't want to cook on too high heat or it will heat too quickly before the sugar fully melts.
- Add the bananas and allow to cook 2-3 minutes, to lightly soften the bananas.
- Remove the pan from heat and pour the rum over the bananas and sauce. Using a long lighter, ignite the rum. Gently shake or swirl the sauce around until the flames burn out, about 30 seconds. The flames will burn blue and can sometimes be very subtle.
- Spoon warm bananas and sauce over ice cream and serve immediately.
