Steps:
- Cut ginger into thin slices, wash lemongrasses properly under running tap water
- Now boil water in a pot and add lemongrass leaves, stem, ginger slices and boil for next 10 minutes
- Then switch off fire and strain the extract, now add honey to lemongrass ginger extract and stir
- Keep it in the refrigerator for next 2-3 hours and then drink

Steps:
- Wash the ginger and lemongrass properly. Wipe them.
- Chop the lemongrass and keep it aside. Lemongrass stalks can be used.
- Slice the ginger into thin slices along with the skin.
- In a saucepan boil 2 cups of water.
- Let it come to boil.
- When water starts to boil, add chopped lemongrass and ginger slices.
- Openly boil them on a slow flame for 5 min or until the color of the water changed to light brown.
- Turn of the flame.
- Cover the saucepan with a lid and let it sit for 15 min.
- After 15 min, Strain the tea.
- Serve immediately the prepared lemongrass ginger tea.
- You can add honey or jaggery according to taste.
- You can also squeeze a lemon according to your shape.
SPICY GINGER TEA
This one is an original recipe. If you like spicy teas, you'll like this one. The ginger makes it feel like a kick in the mouth! It's also good for upset or queasy stomach due to the soothing effects of the ginger. Anyway, this recipe is best hot and absolutely terrible chilled. I learned that the hard way... Note: I've listed things in teaspoons because this website won't let me list it in parts, but it's technically in a ratio, so you can make whatever quantity you want.

- Assemble all the ingredients and place in a tea ball. Note: If you don't own a tea ball, then you can put the ingredients directly in the water and then strain out later.
- Place tea ball in hot water and steep for 10 minutes.
- Drink as a hot tea.

Steps:
- BRING the water to a boil.
- Reduce heat and add gingerroot and lemongrass.
- Simmer for ten minutes.
- Turn off the heat and add 2 bags or about 2 teaspoonfuls of your favorite herbal tea mixture.
- Taste and if it tastes too weak, continue steeping, if it tastes too strong add more water.
- Strain and sweeten with honey and add lemon to taste.
GINGER & LEMONGRASS TEA
Steps:
- Put the water in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Cut the lemongrass into smaller pieces using a pair of scissors.
- Add ginger and lemongrass.
- Bring the mixture to a boil.
- Allow it to simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add tea leaves, sugar and milk.
- Bring the mixture to a boil.
- Allow it to simmer for 1-2 minutes.
- Pour the tea through a fine sieve into mugs or cups.
- Enjoy Ginger & Lemongrass Tea on its own or with your favourite snack. My favourite is to dunk buttered bread in it.
