Number Of Ingredients 6

2 cups half-and-half cream
3 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons canned pumpkin
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Whipped cream and additional pumpkin pie spice

Steps:

  • In a small saucepan, combine cream, sugar, pumpkin and pie spice; cook and stir over medium heat until blended and heated through. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Top servings with whipped cream and additional pie spice.

2 cups water
1 cup oat bran
1 pinch salt
½ cup pumpkin puree
1 teaspoon ground ginger
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
⅓ cup white sugar, or to taste
⅓ cup coconut milk, or to taste

Steps:

  • Bring water to boil in a saucepan. Add oat bran and salt, reduce heat to medium-low; cook and stir until mixture begins to simmer, about 5 minutes.
  • Stir pumpkin puree, ginger, and cinnamon into oat bran mixture; bring back to a simmer. Stir in sugar and coconut milk; cook and stir until mixture reaches desired consistency.

As soon as there is a hint of fall in the air, I think of pumpkins and my mother. She served pumpkin pie with real hot chocolate. This recipe brings those two amazing scents, and her, back to life for me. To turn your hot chocolate into creamy pumpkin mocha, stir 2 teaspoons of instant coffee into the hot chocolate before adding whipped cream. 5 cups 2% milk
1 package (10 to 12 ounces) white baking chips
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup solid-pack pumpkin
1-1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
TOPPING:
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan, whisk milk, baking chips and cream over medium heat until smooth and creamy (do not boil). Remove from heat. Whisk in pumpkin, cinnamon, vanilla and ginger., Meanwhile, in a small bowl, beat cream until it begins to thicken. Add confectioners' sugar and vanilla; beat until soft peaks form. Top servings with whipped cream; sprinkle with cinnamon.
