Sparkling Honey Lemonade in Citrus-Salt Rimmed Glasses image

1 cup fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup honey
6 cups sparkling water or 6 cups still cold water
1 lemon, zest of
coarse salt, of your choice
lemon wedges or lime wedge

Steps:

  • Combine lemon juice and honey in a saucepan.
  • Heat until honey is completely blended with the juice.
  • Chill until cold, then stir and pour into a large pitcher. Add cold water and stir to combine completely.
  • Mix lemon zest with finishing salt in a small dish.
  • Rub the rim of serving glasses with a wedge of lemon or lime.
  • Invert glass into dish of salt and turn to coat rim.
  • Add ice and lemonade. Serve immediately.

4 tablespoons honey (or to taste, I don't use too much sweetener, preferring a tangy drink)

Steps:

2 cups cold water
1 1/2 cups lemon juice
1 cup fruit sugar or 1 cup berry sugar
1 (750 ml) bottle soda water
thin lemon slice
mint sprig

Steps:

  • In a large pitcher, combine cold water, lemon juice and sugar, stir until sugar dissolves.
  • Cover and refrigerate until chilled.
  • Just before serving, gradually add soda water down edge of pitcher, stir to mix.
  • Garnish.
  • Pour lemonade over ice cubes in glasses.
  • Garnish each serving with lemon slices and mint sprig.

3/4 cup fresh lemon juice, plus extra for slicing (about 3 lemons)
1/3 cup fresh orange juice (1 orange)
1/4 cup fresh lime juice, plus extra (to garnish, 2-3 limes)
1 quart club soda, chilled

Steps:

  • In medium saucepan over high heat, bring water and sugar to a boil. Boil for 1-2 minutes or until sugar is dissolved. Allow to cool, then put in a covered container in fridge.
  • Fill a pitcher with ice and add syrup mixture, juices and club soda. Stire, add lemon and lime slices to garnish.
  • Serve immediately.
