SPAGHETTI WITH A KICK
I've been modifying this recipe over the years and this current rendition has become a real crowd-pleaser. It's quick, easy and a nice change of pace from regular spaghetti.

Steps:
- In a large skillet heat cook the onion in the olive oil until tender. Add the spaghetti sauce, black beans, kidney beans, corn, and mix well. Stir in the cumin, red pepper sauce, salt, and ground black pepper. Simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in a large pot with boiling salted water cook spaghetti until al dente. Drain.
- Toss pasta with spaghetti sauce. Serve with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.

KICKED UP SPAGHETTI SAUCE OUT OF A JAR
Take jars of marinara sauce and fancy them up a bit with tons of flavor! By adding in a few simple ingredients you get Kicked Up Spaghetti Sauce Out of Jar that is rich, hearty, and absolutely delicious!

Steps:
- In a multi cooker on high (or skillet or pot if cooking on stove top - over medium high heat), sprinkle on garlic salt or salt and pepper to taste. Crumble ground beef and Italian sausage and cook until no longer pink. Drain fat from meat.
- Return to slow cooker or pot. Add in jarred sauces, garlic, red wine, sugar and stir. Add salt & pepper (or red pepper flakes, if desired) to taste. Top with 4 to 5 pepperoncinis.
- Cover with lid and cook in slow cooker for 8 hours on low or 4 to 5 hours on high.
- If cooking on stovetop, Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium low and cook until warm. I like to cook at least 1 hour to develop flavor.

MAC'S SPAGHETTI RED (SPICY WITH A KICK)
This is a simple recipe that has passed from my grandma to my dad to me. It's cheap and quick to make. If you like spicy food and you like spaghetti I think you'll like this recipe. I like to serve it with slices of french bread that have been slathered with garlic spread and lightly toasted in the oven. It has a kick I hope you like it!

Steps:
- In a large skillet over med-high heat brown the hamburger (use a spatula to crumble the meat up fine while it cooks.
- In a large stock pot start your pasta water to boil (don't forget to season the water with salt). Add spaghetti when the water has come to a rolling boil.
- Once the meat is browned, strain it and return it to the pan.
- Add the other ingredients except the spaghetti. Mix and simmer over low-med heat (be sure to stir occasionally so that it doesn't stick).
- Strain the pasta when it's done and return to the stock pot.
- Pour the meat sauce into the stock pot with the spaghetti and mix well.

- In a blender or large food processor, combine the garlic, serrano peppers, ginger, cilantro, lime zest, soy sauce, sugar and coconut milk. Process until smooth.
- Place the chicken into a large resealable bag, and pour the liquid from the blender in with it. Seal, and refrigerate for about 1 hour, turning once after 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven's broiler. Place the chicken onto a broiling pan, and pour the marinade into a saucepan.
- Broil the chicken for about 10 minutes on each side, until browned and the juices run clear. While the chicken is cooking, bring the marinade to a boil. Simmer over medium heat for about 5 minutes, then remove from the heat.
- Place chicken onto a serving plate, and pour the sauce over it to serve.
