QUICK TATER TOTS BAKE
I like to make this Tater Tot casserole when time before supper is short. If we have unexpected company, I just double the ingredients and use a 13x9-in. pan. I call it my Please Stay Casserole! -Jean Ferguson, Elverta, California

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°. In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Season with salt and pepper. , Transfer to a greased 2-qt. baking dish. Top with Tater Tots. Combine soup and milk; pour over potatoes. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake, uncovered, 30-40 minutes or until heated through.

Aunt Susie just told me the recipe so if anything's missing I don't know and don't care because I could eat this all day long. I added green beans this last time I made it as a replacement for the green bean casserole. yum.

Steps:
- 1. cook tater-tots in pre-heated oven per package directions with the butter.
- 2. add the soup, sour cream, half the cheese you want to use, and the corn flakes. mix well and return to oven till bubbly.
- 3. top with remaining cheese. (can be a different kind if you want.)
- 4. Note: amounts are my personal preference you can use less soup and sour cream or not even use the corn flakes. I just love the flavor of the soup and the texture of the tots.
