SNICKERDOODLE PANCAKES
Inspired by snickerdoodle cookies, these quick and easy breakfast pancakes are made of a cinnamon batter and topped with cinnamon sugar.

Steps:
- Combine flour, brown sugar, 2 teaspoons cinnamon, cream of tartar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl with a whisk.
- Combine buttermilk, egg, butter, and vanilla extract in a small bowl. Beat to break up the egg. Pour into the flour mixture and stir until batter is foamy and just combined.
- Whisk white sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon together in a small bowl.
- Heat a large non-stick griddle over medium-low heat. Pour 1/3 cup batter onto the griddle and cook until bubbles form and the edges are dry, 3 to 4 minutes. Flip and cook until browned on the other side, 2 to 3 minutes. Repeat with remaining batter.
- Brush pancakes with the 5 tablespoons butter. Sprinkle each with 1 teaspoon of the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Top with whipped cream.

SNICKERDOODLE PANCAKES WITH WARM VANILLA SAUCE

Steps:
- In 1 1/2-quart saucepan, mix 3 tablespoons sugar and the cornstarch. Stir in half-and-half and butter until smooth. Heat to boiling over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil about 2 minutes, or until slightly thickened. Stir in vanilla. Keep warm.
- Heat griddle or skillet over medium heat or to 375°F. Grease griddle with oil if necessary.
- In medium bowl, stir Pancake ingredients with spoon until well blended. For each pancake, pour slightly less than 1/4 cup batter onto hot griddle. Cook until edges are dry; turn and cook until golden. Serve with warm sauce.

- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, buttermilk, brown, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, vanilla, cinnamon, and egg. Mix until well combined but do not over mix!
- Lightly spread butter over either a griddle or a pan over medium heat. Pour 1/4 cup of batter and spread evenly into a circle. Cook until the edge of the pancake starts to brown and bubbles start to form. Flip and cook until the bottom browns. Repeat with remaining batter. To get golden rings on pancakes, put a bit of butter on the griddle before pouring each pancake.
- Once a pancake has cooked, brush melted butter on both sides and place in on the plate with the cinnamon sugar. Flip the pancake around on there until it is coated evenly. Repeat with all of the pancakes right before serving.

- Take all of your dry ingredients and sift them together well.In a small cup, combine the cream,water,yogurt, vanilla, cooled melted butter and beaten egg.
- Make a well in the dry ingredients and pour the liquid ingredients into the well.Mix until almost combined, stir until the dry ingredients are just mixed in.
- To cook them, spread them out on the oiled griddle with the back of your spoon, the batter is thick and you will need to manually make them into circles rather then just letting a runny batter do its normal thing.
- Flip the pancakes when you see a few bubbles on the top but more importantly, when you see that the edges are well cooked.
