Ingredients

1/4 cup margarine or 1/4 cup butter
40 regular marshmallows
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
5 cups Rice Krispies
1/2 cup peanuts
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup chocolate chips

Steps:

In large saucepan over low heat, melt margarine. Add marshmallows; stir until melted and well blended. Remove from heat.
Stir in vanilla. Add cereal, peanuts and raisins, then chocolate chips, stirring until thoroughly coated.
Using lightly-buttered spatula, press into buttered 3.5 L (13 x 9") pan. Cool. Cut into bars.

Ingredients

2 cups sugar
1 3/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup cocoa
5 extra-large eggs
1 cup oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chocolate chips

Steps:

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 9x13 pan with nonstick spray (or nonstick with flour spray).
Dump all dry ingredients in a large bowl and stir with a whisk to mix well (my version of sifting).
Add all of the "wet" ingredients and stir until mixed well with wooden spoon.
Spread in prepared pan and sprinkle the cup (or so) of chocolate chips over the top.
Bake at 350 for no more than 30 minute They are done when the edge just starts to pull away from the pan and a toothpick comes out with a little bit of brownie on it. I set my timer for 28 minute to avoid over baking them.
