FROZEN OLD FASHIONED SLUSH RECIPE
This Frozen Old Fashioned Slush recipe takes the classic cocktail to a new, and dare I say it, much cooler level. Made with bourbon, this a refreshing and flavorful slush recupe that can be served any time of the year.

Steps:
- Start by adding the water and sugar to a large saucepan. Stir continuously and bring to a boil. Cook until the sugar is dissolved. This will take about five minutes. Allow to cool completely.
- Next, stir in the bourbon, orange juice concentrate, cherry juice, and bitters. Pour this mixture into a freezer-safe baking dish that will hold at least 3 quarts. Freeze for 10-12 hours or overnight. If possible, stir the mixture with a fork once or twice during the freezing process.
- To serve, place about 3/4 cup of the Old Fashioned mixture in a glass. Top with about 1/4 cup lemon-lime soda. Garnish with an orange slice and a cherry.

Follow with 4-6 drops of McCormick Food Coloring to achieve your desired color. Stir well. Pour into your ice cream maker (this recipe was tested in a 1 and 1/2 quart ice cream maker) and turn on and run according to ice cream maker package directions. Let run for approximately 20 minutes or until desired consistency is reached. Serve immediately.

SLUSHED SLUSHY SLUSH
This is a great party drink recipe. You need to make it at least a day in advance. I like to leave a container of this mix in my freezer during the hot summer months. Whenever friends pop by (or if you've had a hard day!); it's easy to scoop out into glasses, add 7up or gingerale and you have a refreshing drink! I'm guessing at the serving amount, I just know that it makes A LOT!

- Bring water to a boil.
- Remove from heat and add tea bags for 15 minutes.
- Remove tea bags and add sugar, stir until dissolved.
- Pour into the large container you will be freezing it in .
- Add your cans of orange juice and lemonade, stir well.
- Add vodka, stir well.
- Freeze! It takes about 24-36 hours to freeze properly.
- Once frozen, scoop out into glasses (about 1/2 full) and add gingerale or 7-up.
- Let the party begin!
