CROCKPOT STICKY CHICKEN DRUMSTICKS

Steps:
- In a large bowl, whisk together honey, brown sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, garlic and ginger to create sauce
- Add drumsticks/wings to a 5 qt or larger crockpot.
- Pour the honey mix onto the drumsticks/wings and mix well.
- Cook on high in the slow cooker for 4 hours. After 2 hours give the drumsticks a toss to coat in the sauce again. Cover and continue cooking.
- Once fully cooked, remove drumstick/wings from the crockpot and place on a baking pan that is lined with foil and has been sprayed with cooking spray.
- Broil for 2 minutes or until browned.
- Remove the drumsticks/wings from the oven and turn them to the other side.
- Broil the other side for 2 minutes or until browned. Watch very carefully they may not need as long depending on your oven. This step is optional but gives the chicken a better texture on the outside.
- Serve. This is great with some steamed rice!Gluten Free

STICKY SLOW COOKER CHICKEN DRUMSTICKS

- Gather the ingredients.
- Rub spice mixture into chicken, skin side and bone side, making sure it is evenly distributed and pressed down deep into chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 to 12 hours until very tender. If you have a newer crock pot, the chicken will most likely be done in 7 to 8 hours. Check with a food thermometer (an instant read thermometer is great)-the temperature should be 165 F. Serve immediately with lots of napkins.

- Place drumsticks in a 5-qt. slow cooker. In a small bowl, combine the tomato sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar and garlic; pour over chicken. Cover and cook on low until a thermometer reads 170°-175°, 5-6 hours., To serve, remove drumsticks to a 15x10x1-in. pan; arrange in a single layer. Preheat broiler., Skim fat from cooking juices; transfer juices to a small saucepan. Bring liquid to a boil. Combine cornstarch and water until smooth. Gradually stir into the pan. Bring to a boil; cook and stir until thickened, 2 minutes. , Meanwhile, broil chicken 3-4 in. from heat until lightly browned, 2-3 minutes. Brush with sauce before serving. If desired, sprinkle with green onions.
