SLOW COOKER SALISBURY STEAK RECIPE
Cook up a hearty serving of salisbury steak with mushrooms for dinner tonight! It's all cooked up in a slow cooker for a fuss-free, belly-filling meal.

Steps:
- Place the mushroom and onions in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Combine the ground beef, egg yolk, onion, bread crumbs, milk, garlic, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
- Form 6 patties with hands.
- Brown the patties over medium high heat for 3 minutes per side.
- Layer the beef patties over the mushrooms.
- Combine the beef broth, brown gravy mix, ketchup, dijon, and parsley in a bowl, then pour them over the beef.
- Cook on Low for 5 hours.
- Once cooked, remove the patties and set aside.
- Turn the slow cooker onto High.
- Combine the cold water and cornstarch, then stir them into the broth.
- Let cook for a few minutes until thickened.
- Add the beef back into the sauce to coat.
- Serve over mashed potatoes or rice, and enjoy!

SLOW COOKER SALISBURY STEAK
This recipe goes together quickly and does not need a lot of time in the slow cooker. It's a delicious way to add flavor to ground beef and the children love it! The gravy is delightful served over mashed potatoes.

- In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, onion soup mix, bread crumbs, and milk using your hands. Shape into 8 patties.
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Dredge the patties in flour just to coat, and quickly brown on both sides in the hot skillet. Place browned patties into the slow cooker stacking alternately like a pyramid. In a medium bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, au jus mix, and water. Pour over the meat. Cook on the Low setting for 4 or 5 hours, until ground beef is well done.
