SLOPPY JOE MAC AND CHEESE
Combining two mealtime classics into this casserole was a success for Dorothy Leone. Sloppy Joe Macaroni and Cheese is a hit in her Meredith, New Hampshire home. "My grandchildren love it," she says. "It's so versatile, too. Instead of the sloppy joe mix, I sometimes add taco seasoning, and I've also experimented with the other ingredients. But I do hope you can lighten it up a bit."

Two classic kid favorites, sloppy joes and macaroni and cheese. Each serving is 2 cups each. I found this in Kraft Food & Family magazine. I have not tried this recipe, but I'm posting it for safe keeping.

From Light and Tasty. This is one of their makover recipes. The original recipe had 658 calories a serving, but this versio only has about 350. They also cut the fat hugely. But, just like them to keep the flavor. Give this a try...you won't be sorry. A serving = 1 1/3 cups.
