- In a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Stir in the rice, sloppy joe sauce, corn, mushrooms and seasoned salt., Transfer to a greased 2-qt. baking dish. Cover and bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Uncover; sprinkle with cheese. Bake 5-10 minutes longer or until cheese is melted.

I had a craving for sloppy joes, but I didn't want to deal with my kids making a mess by doing this sandwich style. A no mess casserole.

Steps:
- Brown beef with onion, and garlic make sauce according to package directions (adding tomato paste and water); mix into beef.
- Mix cornbread mix, eggs, butter, salt, and canned corns.
- Pour corn bread mixture into prepared 9X13 inch casserole.
- Top with meat mixture.
- Sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake at 350°F until done, 45 minutes, until bread at the edges begin to brown.
