2 (750 milliliter) bottles dry white wine (such as Pinot Grigio)
¾ cup brandy
1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle ginger ale
1 lemon, sliced
1 orange, halved and sliced
1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle club soda

Steps:

  • Combine Pinot Grigio, brandy, and ginger ale in a large pitcher. Stir in lemon and orange slices. Refrigerate for at least one hour.
  • To serve, pour sangria into ice-filled glasses. If desired, top with club soda. Garnish each glass with an orange slice.

1 medium apple, quartered and thinly sliced
1/2 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
1 bottle (32 ounces) cranberry juice
1 bottle (750 ml) zinfandel or other fruity red wine
1 cup simple syrup
1/2 cup orange liqueur
Ice cubes
GARNISHES:
Optional: Thinly sliced oranges, thinly sliced apples and fresh cranberries

Steps:

  • In a large pitcher, combine the first 7 ingredients; refrigerate overnight. Serve over ice; garnish with oranges, apples and cranberries if desired.

Combining refreshing white wine with fresh squeezed blood oranges to make the perfect Blood Orange Sangria.

8 oz freshly squeeze blood oranges
1 bottle Pinot grigio (or any other light white wine)
1 oz simple syrup
0.3 cup Triple sec
0.5 cup club soda
Sliced blood oranges (for serving)

Steps:

  • In a large pitcher, combine the wine, blood orange juice, simple syrup, triple sec and club soda. Stir well to combine.
  • To serve, fill each glass with a few ice cubes (or crushed ice, my favorite), and pour the sangria in. Garnish with a few slices of blood oranges.

2 medium oranges
1/4 cup superfine sugar
2 cups freshly squeezed orange juice
1 (750 ml) bottle dry red wine
1/2 cup orange-flavored liqueur

Steps:

  • Cut 1 orange into thin slices, then into quarters, and reserve for garnish.
  • With vegetable peeler or zester, thinly remove outer peel from second orange.
  • In large bowl, using a spoon, bruise the peel with the sugar to release the oils.
  • Stir in orange juice, wine and liqueur.
  • Cover and chill. Remove orange peel after 15 minutes.
  • Serve the sangria, garnished with the orange slices, over ice.

6 ounces pitted cherries, undrained
½ cup blueberries
½ cup blackberries
½ cup raspberries
1 orange, sliced
½ cup sliced fresh strawberries
2 (750 milliliter) bottles red wine
2 cups vodka
1 cup triple sec
ice
1 (32 fluid ounce) bottle club soda

Steps:

  • Combine cherries, blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries in a bowl. Muddle together to release juices.
  • Transfer muddled berries to a punch bowl. Add orange and strawberries. Pour in red wine, vodka, and triple sec; stir to combine. Cover and refrigerate until sangria flavors combine, 8 hours to overnight.
  • Fill a glass with ice and pour in sangria. Top with club soda to taste.
