Time 30m

Yield 8

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 1/2 pounds pork tenderloin
1/4 cup hoisin sauce
1/4 cup Soy sauce
1/4 cup Honey
2 teaspoons Brown sugar
1 teaspoon Garlic
1 teaspoon Pepper
1 teaspoon Ginger
1 teaspoon Sesame oil

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients except pork. Marinate pork in mix for 2 - 24 hours. Remove and drain marinade. Roll each piece of meat in sesame seeds (coat). Preheat oven to 500 degrees and cook for 20 minutes until pork has an internal temp of 150 to 155. Slice across the grain and serve with fried rice. Drizzle sauce on sliced pork and rice. Our tips: Substitue 1 teaspoon molasses and 2 teaspoons plain sugar (I like using turbinado surgar if grilling) for brown sugar. Sure it''s the same thing but swear it tastes better! Use more sesame seeds than you think you''ll need. Many will fall off during grilling and handling. This does MUCH better on the grill on medium-high heat. Sear over direct heat and then finish with indirect heat. I like to pull it off the grill at about 145 internal, double wrap with foil and let sit for 20 minutes. Make extra sauce to use as a baste during cooking. Add some sriracha sauce to the sauce for a spicy dipping sauce.

HOISIN SESAME PORK TENDERLOIN

Hoisin Sesame Pork Tenderloin image

This is the meal we have when I'm feeling completely lazy. It's so easy, I'm almost ashamed to post! The pork turns out so juicy and flavorful. We've added a small amount of grated ginger to the sauce, but really prefer it "plain."

Provided by Akikobay

Categories     Pork

Time 40m

Yield 4-6 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 3

2 -2 1/2 lbs pork tenderloin
1/4-1/2 cup hoisin sauce
1/4-1/2 cup sesame seeds, carefully toasted

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Line a baking pan with foil.
  • Put the tenderloin (s) into the baking sheet.
  • Spread hoisin sauce over the pork tenderloin (s) rubbing the sauce into the meat lightly with your fingers.
  • Sprinkle the toasted sesame seeds over the pork tenderloins, turning the tenderloin to cover completely.
  • Roast in the middle of the oven for about 20 to 30 minutes.
  • The shorter time will yield a slightly pinkish middle, the longer time will be more well-done.
  • Serve with rice.
  • Sauce can be thickened with cornstarch-- if there isn't enough juice from cooking the tenderloin, just add a bit of hoisin sauce and warm with the pork juices.

HONEY SESAME PORK TENDERLOIN

Honey Sesame Pork Tenderloin image

We love this variation of pork tenderloin. It's excellent served over rice. Delicious! The prep time does not include marinating, which is 2 hours. Enjoy!

Provided by LifeIsGood

Categories     Pork

Time 45m

Yield 4 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 lb whole pork tenderloin
1/2 cup soy sauce (I recommend using low-sodium soy sauce)
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
4 tablespoons sesame seeds

Steps:

  • Combine soy sauce, ginger, garlic and sesame oil.
  • Place tenderloin in a resealable plastic food storage bag and pour the soy sauce mixture into it.
  • Marinate for 2 hours in the refrigerator. **I do not recommend marinating this any longer than 2 hours - as the pork will become too salty tasting**.
  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Remove pork from marinade and pat dry with a paper towel.
  • Mix honey and brown sugar on a plate. (You could use a whisk if you're having trouble mixing these ingredients.).
  • Place sesame seeds on another plate.
  • Roll pork in honey mixture and then roll in the sesame seeds.
  • Roast in a shallow pan for 20 to 30 minutes or until meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part registers 160 degrees.
  • Suggested to serve over rice.
