1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup flour
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoons paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 1/2-3 1/2 lbs broiler-fryer chickens, cut up
1/2 cup butter, melted (or margarine)

Steps:

Beat egg and milk in medium bowl.
Combine flour, sesame seeds, baking powder, paprika, garlic powder and salt in plastic or paper bag.
Dip chicken pieces in egg mixture, then shake in bag to coat.
Arrange chicken pieces, skin side up, on turntable.
Pour butter or margarine evenly over chicken.
Bake 30 minutes on High Mix, 375°F setting.

Ingredients

3 tablespoons butter, softened (or margarine)
1 garlic clove, minced
3 tablespoons parmesan cheese, grated
1/2 teaspoon ground sage
3/4 teaspoon thyme leaves
3/4 teaspoon basil leaves
5 -6 lbs roasting chickens

Steps:

Cream together margarine, garlic, Parmesan, sage, thyme & basil.
Turn chicken breast side up and gently work your fingers under the skin at the openings on each side of the breast.
Continue into thighs and legs and make the skin as smooth as possible.
Using fingers, spread herb mixture evenly under the skin.
Place chicken, breast side up on broiling trivet.
Bake 9 to 13 minutes PER POUND on High Mix setting or until chicken next to bone is no longer pink.
