SAVOURY SAUSAGE BITES



Savoury Sausage Bites image

I got this recipe from a leaflet the other day they look delicious. I have not had a chance to make them yet but I will be soon!

Number Of Ingredients 8

8 thick sausages
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1 teaspoon dried herbs
1 tablespoon red pesto sauce
6 tablespoons tomato ketchup
1 tablespoon malt vinegar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon red pesto sauce

Steps:

  • Cut the sausage down their length and remove the skins. Place the meat in a bowl. Mix with the parsley, dried herds and pesto.
  • Divide the mixture into 12 balls and then press into patties.
  • Cook the patties on a griddle for 15 minutes, turning once.
  • Meanwhile, place the dip ingredients into a saucepan and stir well. Bring to the boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and spoon into a serving bowl.
