3 tablespoons canola oil
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon dried minced garlic
1 tablespoon Greek seasoning
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 beef flank steak (1-1/2 pounds)

Steps:

  • In a shallow dish, combine the first 7 ingredients; add the steak and turn to coat. Cover; refrigerate for 6 hours or overnight., Drain and discard marinade. lightly oil the grill rack. Grill steak, covered, over medium heat or broil 4 in. from heat for 6-8 minutes on each side or until steak reaches desired doneness (for medium-rare, a thermometer should read 135°; medium, 140°; medium-well, 145°)., To serve, thinly slice across the grain.

1/2 cup canola oil, plus more for the grill
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon chopped garlic
1 teaspoon chopped fresh oregano
1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley
1 teaspoon chopped fresh rosemary
Few dashes of Worcestershire sauce
Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
2 pounds flank steak

Steps:

  • Make the marinade: Combine the canola oil, vinegar, mustard, garlic, oregano, parsley, rosemary and Worcestershire sauce in a food processor; season with salt and pepper. Pulse until the garlic and herbs are incorporated in the oil.
  • Place the steak in a resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the steak and marinate in the refrigerator at least 30 minutes or overnight.
  • Make the sauce: Remove the steak from the bag and pour the marinade into a small pan. Bring the marinade to a boil, then reduce the heat to a simmer and cook until thickened, 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Preheat a grill to high and oil the grates. Grill the steak 3 to 5 minutes per side for medium rare. Transfer to a cutting board and let rest 5 to 7 minutes, then slice against the grain. Serve with the herb sauce.

½ cup olive oil
¼ cup lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon dried minced onion
1 ½ teaspoons flavor enhancer (such as Accent®)
1 ½ teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon white sugar
½ teaspoon dry mustard
½ teaspoon dried rosemary
¼ teaspoon ground ginger
1 (1 pound) flank steak

Steps:

  • Mix oil, lemon juice, garlic, minced onion, flavor enhancer, salt, pepper, sugar, dry mustard, rosemary, and ginger together in a glass jar. Place flank steak in a zip-top bag and add marinade. Refrigerate for 4 hours.
  • Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate.
  • Remove flank steak from the marinade and shake off excess. Discard the remaining marinade.
  • Cook on the preheated grill, turning once, until firm and slightly pink in the center, 5 to 8 minutes per side. Slice on a diagonal across the grain to serve.

2 tbsp canola oil
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 tbsp liquid honey
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 1/2 lb (0.75 kg) flank steak

Steps:

  • To prepare marinade, combine all ingredients except steak in a heavy zip-lock plastic bag. Add steak and squeeze bag to coat steak with marinade; seal bag. Let stand for 30 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, preheat natural gas barbecue on medium heat for 10 - 15 minutes.
  • Remove steak from marinade; discard marinade. Grill steak to medium rare, about 15 - 20 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes before slicing. Using a sharp knife held at a 45 degree angle, slice steak against the grain into thin slices.

2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 anchovy fillets
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon fresh flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped
Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
1 piece flank steak (1 1/2 to 2 pounds)
1 tablespoon canola oil

Steps:

  • Place a medium saute pan over medium-low heat. Add the butter and olive oil. Once the butter has melted, add the anchovies and saute until they start to break down, about 1 minute. Add the oregano, crushed red pepper and garlic and saute for 2 to 3 minutes to allow the anchovies to completely break down and the garlic to cook. Take the pan off the heat and allow to cool for 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in the lemon juice and parsley. Taste and season with salt and pepper if desired.
  • Heat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Season both sides of the flank steak with a generous amount of salt and pepper. Brush the grill grates or grill pan with the canola oil. Grill the steak for 3 to 4 minutes per side for medium rare. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Slice and top with the sauce.
