SAUCY APPLE SWIRL CAKE
Another delicious addition from my Aunt's recipe collection. This is simple and sweet. I first remember having it one Christmas morning at her house when I was about 8. Brings back happy memories....

Steps:
- Blend the sugar and cinnamon.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease a 10 inch tube pan and dust it with 1 T of the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Save remainder for cake.
- Blend cake mix, applesauce and eggs until moistened.
- Then beat as directed on cake mix package.
- Reserve 1 1/2 cup batter.
- Pour remaining batter into prepared tube pan.
- Sprinkle batter in pan with remaining cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Top with reserved batter.
- Bake for 35-45 minutes or until cake tests done.
- Cool cake in pan top side up for 15 minutes.
- Invert on serving plate and serve.

CAKE MIX APPLESAUCE CAKE - APPLESAUCE COFFEE CAKE WITH YELLOW CAKE MIX
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F; spray a 13 x 9 inch baking dish nonstick cooking spray.
- In a small bowl, mix cinnamon and sugar; set aside.
- In a large bowl, blend cake mix, eggs and applesauce until moist. Beat on high for 2 minutes.
- Pour half the batter into the prepared baking dish; sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar; cover with remaining batter.
- Take a knife and swirl through the layers.
- Bake for 35 to 45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool in pan. If desired, sprinkle top of cake with powdered sugar.

Steps:
- 1. Blend cake mix, eggs and applesauce with an electric mixer in a large mixer bowl. Combine sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
- 2. Pour 1/2 of cake mixture into a greased and lightly floured Bundt pan. Sprinkle the sugar, cinnamon mixture over the batter. Cover with the remaining cake batter.
- 3. Bake in a preheated oven at 350' for 40-50 minutes. When cool invert onto serving plate and sprinkle with confectioner's sugar.

Steps:
- In bowl cream sugar, butter and eggs. In another bowl mix flour, cinnamon, soda and salt until well blended. Add flour mixture to sugar mixture until well combined. Add apples, your batter will be very thick. Add batter to 9 inch well greased baking dish. Bake in a 350°F oven for 30 - 40 minutes.
- Sauce:.
- In saucepan combine all ingredients for the sauce. Cook over medium heat until thickened. Serve warm sauce over cake. Enjoy.

Steps:
- Peel, core, and chop apples into small pieces.
- Mix together with 3 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon.
- Set aside.
- In large bowl, combine sugar and cooking oil; beat.
- Add eggs, orange juice, and vanilla.
- Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt; add to creamed mixture.
- Beat until smooth.
- Pour one third batter into greased and floured 12 cup bundt pan alternating with one half apple mixture.
- Repeat.
- End with layer of batter on top.
- Bake at 325 degrees F for 60 minutes or until cake tests done.
- Cool in pan 10 to 15 minutes; turn out on wire rack or serving plate to complete cooling.
- Sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
