EASY ROSé PASTA SAUCE
This simple rose pasta sauce only requires a few minutes and a handful of ingredients to pull together. It's light and flavorful, and perfect for pasta!

Steps:
- Cut the garlic into small pieces. Set aside.
- In a skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add the garlic. Cook it for 1 minute. Do not roast, as this will change the taste of the sauce. Stir a little.
- Add the tomato sauce and stir well.
- Add the parmesan cheese while stirring with a whisk. Mix well.
- Add the cream and stir while bringing to a boil.
- Add salt and pepper to taste. Stir well for about 5 minutes and remove from heat.
- Serve over pasta.

Steps:
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-low heat and add basil, thyme, oregano, parsley and dried red pepper flakes; stir together.
- Add onion, bell pepper and garlic and cook until onions are transparent; add tomato sauce and bring to a boil, stirring well. Add chicken bouillon and sugar; stir.
- While the sauce is cooking, bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook according to the package instructions (fresh tortellini take less time than dried). Drain and set aside.
- Reduce heat, add cream and wine; bring close to a boil, stirring constantly. Add pasta and serve.

SHRIMP PASTA IN A ROSé SAUCE
A succulent shrimp pasta with a creamy tomato sauce.

Steps:
- If shrimp are frozen, run them under cool water until thawed. Peel and devein.
- Boil a large pot of salted water and cook fettuccine according to package directions.
- Chop shallot finely. Add butter, oil, and shallot to a skillet on medium heat.
- Cook shallot for about five minutes and then add the wine, garlic, Dijon mustard, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and cook for a few minutes.
- Stir in the cream and salt and pepper and then simmer for about 10 minutes to reduce the sauce (you may need to turn it down to medium-low heat if it starts to bubble a lot).
- Add in the shrimp and torn basil and cook for another five minutes. Once the pasta is cooked, add it to the skillet and toss with the sauce. Serve immediately with fresh parmesan cheese.

Steps:
- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil; stir in tortellini and return to a gentle boil. Cook uncovered, stirring occasionally, until tortellini float to the top and filling is hot, about 4 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium-low heat. Stir basil, thyme, oregano, parsley, and red pepper flakes into hot oil.
- Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic; cook and stir until onions are translucent, about 2 minutes. Pour in tomato sauce and bring to a boil. Stir in sugar and chicken bouillon until dissolved.

LOBSTER PASTA WITH SPICY ROSé SAUCE

- Add salt to large pot of water and bring to a boil.In a large pot on medium, cook the shallots in the oil for 5 minutes and stir frequently. Add the garlic and chili flakes and cook for another minute.Add the tomato paste and salt and cook for another 5 minutes, stirring frequently until the tomato paste browns a bit.Add the brandy and cook for another 2 minutes while stirring continuously.Remove ¼ cup (60 mL) of the boiling water using a measuring cup and add the soy sauce in the same cup (this will prevent the cream from separating when added to the sauce). Reduce the heat to low and add the cream to the tomato paste mixture. Mix well.Add the lobster flesh and gently stir. Turn the heat off.Cook the pasta following the instructions on the package.
