2 lb boneless country-style pork ribs
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup Old El Paso™ Thick 'n Chunky salsa
3/4 cup chili sauce
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
2 tablespoons tomato paste (from 6-oz can)

Steps:

  • Spray 3- to 4-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Place pork ribs in slow cooker; sprinkle with salt. In small bowl, mix salsa, chili sauce, cumin and ground red pepper; spoon over ribs.
  • Cover; cook on Low setting 8 to 9 hours.
  • Remove ribs from slow cooker; place on serving platter. Into 2-cup measuring cup or bowl, pour 1 cup cooking juices from slow cooker. Stir in tomato paste; spoon over ribs.

1/3 cup packed dark brown sugar
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
2 cups ketchup
1/2 cup cider vinegar
3 tablespoons spicy brown mustard
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon liquid smoke

Steps:

  • Spray 4- to 5-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Place ribs in slow cooker. In medium bowl, mix all remaining ingredients. Pour over ribs.
  • Cover; cook on Low heat setting 9 to 10 hours.

1/4 tsp ground red pepper (cayenne)

  • 1. Spray 3-4 quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Place pork ribs in slow cooker; sprinkle with salt. In small bowl, mix salsa, chili sauce, cumin and ground red pepper; spoon over ribs.
  • 2. Cover; cook on low for 8-9 hours. Remove ribs from slow cooker; place on serving platter. Into 2 cup measuring cup or bowl, pour 1 cup cooking juices from slow cooker. Stir in tomato paste; spoon over ribs.
