- Place half of the peanuts in an ungreased 11x7-in. dish; set aside. In a large saucepan, melt butter and peanut butter chips over low heat. Add milk and marshmallows; cook and stir until melted. , Pour over peanuts. Sprinkle with remaining peanuts. Cover and refrigerate until chilled. Cut into 54 pieces (about 1-in. square).

- Heat oven to 350°F. In medium bowl, mix flour, brown sugar and salt. Cut in 1/2 cup butter, using pastry blender or crisscrossing 2 knives, until evenly mixed. Press evenly in bottom of ungreased rectangular pan, 13x9x2 inches. Bake 15 minutes; cool slightly.
- Cut up any large nuts. Sprinkle nuts evenly over crust. In 1-quart saucepan, heat all remaining ingredients over low heat, stirring occasionally, just until chips are melted. Drizzle butterscotch mixture evenly over nuts. Bake 5 minutes. For bars, cut into 8 rows by 4 rows while warm for easiest cutting.

These bars are easy to make and everyone loves them! I usually make them for the holidays and set them out as part of a dessert/cookie plate. They work well cut into 1-inch squares. Real butter is the key to the rich flavor. These will also keep in the freezer for up to 3 weeks.

- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Stir cake mix, 1/3 cup melted butter, and egg together in bowl. Press mixture into prepared baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven until golden and fragrant, about 15 minutes. Spread marshmallows over crust and return to oven. Bake until marshmallows are melted, 2 to 3 minutes. Cool completely.

- Pour 1/2 of the peanuts into the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Melt peanut butter chips and butter in a microwave-safe glass or ceramic bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring after each melting, for 1 to 3 minutes. Stir in sweetened condensed milk and microwave until heated through, about 30 seconds more.
- Stir marshmallows into butter mixture until completely incorporated and melted. Pour marshmallow mixture over peanuts into the baking dish. Sprinkle remaining peanuts over the top, cover the peanuts with a sheet of waxed paper, and press down to fill the pan and create an even layer. - Add the margarine and peanut butter chips to a medium sauce pan and heat until they have melted together. Stir as they are melting to combine evenly. Remove from the heat and add sweetened condensed milk. Stir until well blended. Stir the miniature marshmallows into the mixture. Divide the jar of peanuts into thirds and evenly spread 1/3 on the bottom of the baking pan. Stir 1/3 into the mixture above. Spread mixture on top of the peanuts in the bottom of the baking pan. - To make crust:.
