SALMON OREGANATA | TASTY TUESDAY RECIPE SWAP



Salmon Oreganata | Tasty Tuesday Recipe Swap image

1-1.5 pounds fresh salmon fillet
½ cup bread crumbs
½ tsp oregano
½ cup grated cheese
salt and pepper
olive oil
juice of ½ lemon

Steps:

  • On a foil-lined baking sheet place the salmon fillet.
  • Preheat the broiler to low and the oven to 325F.
  • Drizzle olive oil over salmon.
  • Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste.
  • Cover top with cheese, bread crumbs, and oregano.
  • Drizzle a bit more olive oil over the toppings.
  • Squeeze the lemon juice all over.
  • Broil on low for three minutes.
  • Bake at 325F for about ten minutes.

This impressive, healthy, and delicious salmon dish works just as well for a holiday dinner party as it does for a weeknight dinner. The fact that it takes about 20 minutes to prepare makes it one of our go-to recipes for any occasion!

Number Of Ingredients 8

2 pound Salmon Filets
0.67 cup Bread Crumbs
1 tablespoon Dried Oregano
1.5 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1 Pinch Other favorite Dried Herbs (Sage, Thyme, Rosemary, Basil, Chili Flakes)
1 teaspoon Salt
0.5 teaspoon Pepper
2 tablespoon Olive Oil

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line rimmed baking dish with parchment paper.Mix bread crumbs, oregano, garlic powder, herbs, salt, pepper, and olive oil in a small bowl. Blend until crumb mixture is well-combined and semi-moist.Place fish in prepared dish. Cover generously with crumb mixture.Bake 12-15 minutes. Turn oven to broil for another 1-2 minutes to brown bread combs. Serve immediately.
