- In a bowl, combine eggs, sugar, spices and vanilla. Blend in milk. Pour into a 1-1/2-qt. baking dish. Place baking dish in a cake pan in oven; add 1 in. water to pan. , Bake at 325° for 1 hour or until a knife inserted near middle comes out clean.

- Combine yolks and egg in a small mixing bowl; beat well. Gradually add chicken broth, beating until well blended. Pour mixture into a well-greased 10- x 6- x 2-inch baking dish. Place baking dish in a 13- x 9- x 2- inch baking pan. Pour hot water into pan to a depth of 1 inch.
- Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 25 minutes or until a knife inserted halfway between center and edge of custard comes out clean. Remove baking dish from pan. Cool custard to room temperature in baking dish. Cut custard into various shapes with miniature aspic cutters. Remove from dish.

Fold the meringue carefully making sure you do not overmix.Assemble for baking: Remove the baking dish coated with caramel from the fridge and pour the custard batter through a sieve to avoid lumps. Move a toothpick through the mixture to remove extra air bubblesNext, carefully pour the cake batter that was combined with the beaten egg whites.
