Steps:
1. Mix flour,baking soda, and salt in a small bowl. Beat butter and shortening, both sugars, and vanilla in large bowl. Add one egg at a time. Make sure to beat well before adding flour mixture. Stir in chip mix made up of all chips. Drop on ungreased baking sheet into rounded tablespoon balls two inches apart. Bake at 350 for 11 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand 2 minutes. Move to wire racks. Makes 4 1/2 dozen.
