- Place ground coffee in filter basket of a drip coffeemaker. Add 2 cups cold water to water reservoir and brew according to manufacturer's directions., In a small saucepan, combine coffee and sugar; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer until reduced by half, about 30 minutes. Remove from heat; transfer to a small bowl or covered container. Refrigerate, covered, until cold or up to 2 weeks., To prepare coffee milk: In a tall glass, mix 1 cup milk and 2-4 tablespoons coffee milk syrup.

- 1. Place the milk and syrup in a blender and blend to mix thoroughly, about 10 seconds.
- 2. Add the ice cream and pulse several times to begin breaking it up.
- 3. With the blender motor off, use a flexible spatula to mash the mixture down onto the blender blade.
- 4. Continue pulsing, stopping, and mashing until the mixture is well blended, thick, and moves easily in the blender jar, roughly 30 to 90 seconds.
- 5. Pour into a chilled glass or glasses, and serve at once.

- Into a sauce pan add together 1 cup of strong brewed coffee and 1/2 cup of white sugar. Bring stirring while bringing to a simmer.
