THE casserole that simply MUST be served at EVERY family reunion!

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 (8oz) pkg macaroni, elbow
1 lb ground beef
1/2 lb ground pork sausage
1 small onion, chopped
1 (14oz) can(s) tomatoes, diced
1 can(s) whole kernel corn
1 (8oz) can(s) tomato sauce
8 oz sharp cheddar, shredded
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper

Steps:

  • 1. Cook pasta; set aside.
  • 2. Spray 13x9" glass baking dish with cooking oil set aside.
  • 3. Saute' beef, sausage and onion in large pot.
  • 4. Add salt, pepper, tomatoes, sauce, corn and 1/2 of the cheese. Mix well and simmer for at least 5 minutes.
  • 5. Stir pasta into the mixture and transfer to prepared baking dish.
  • 6. Spread remaining cheese over top of casserole.
  • 7. Bake at 350 degrees until cheese is bubbling (about 10 minutes).

1 pound ground beef
1/2 pound bulk spicy pork sausage
1 cup chopped onion
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
1 medium green pepper, chopped
1 can (11 ounces) whole kernel corn, drained
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed tomato soup, undiluted
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
1/3 cup sliced pimiento-stuffed olives
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
8 ounces wide noodles, cooked and drained

Steps:

  • In a large Dutch oven, cook the beef, sausage and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in 1 cup cheese, green pepper, corn, soup, tomato sauce, olives, garlic, salt and noodles. , Transfer to a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Cover and bake at 350° for 35 minutes or until bubbly. Uncover; bake 10 minutes longer or until cheese is melted.

2 cups cooked chicken
1 can condensed golden mushroom soup
8 ounces sour cream (substitute plain yogurt for low fat version)
12 ounces mozzarella cheese (skim mozzarella for low fat version)
2 packages Ritz crackers
nonstick cooking spray

Steps:

  • Mix the first four ingredients together.
  • You can add a cooked vegetable to this to make a complete meal in one dish.
  • Crush the Ritz crackers.
  • Spray a casserole or baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Add 1/3 of Ritz crackers.
  • Put in half of chicken mixture.
  • Add 1/3 of Ritz crackers on top of chicken.
  • Put in the other half of chicken mixture and top with remaining Ritz crackers.
  • Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
  • Makes 8 servings.

  • Preheat oven to 350˚F. Cook sausage in a large skillet over medium, stirring to crumble, until browned, about 8 minutes. Drain sausage well, setting skillet aside. Transfer sausage to a large bowl, and stir in peas, chiles, garlic powder, cumin, oregano, pepper, and salt.
  • Melt butter in reserved skillet over medium, and add squash, zucchini, and onion. Cook, stirring occasionally, until softened, about 8 to 10 minutes; drain well. Cool 5 minutes. Stir together eggs and cheeses in a separate bowl; fold in squash mixture.
  • Separate crescent roll dough into 2 long rectangles; pinch dough seams together. Place dough in a lightly greased 13- x 9-inch baking dish; press dough on bottom and up sides to form crust, using a knife to cut away excess dough. Bake in preheated oven until crust begins to set, about 10 minutes.
