FRUIT CUBES
Make refreshing fruit ice cubes this summer to drink with water, lemonade or any other beverage. They are easy to make, customizable and jazz up your water!

Steps:
- Wash the fruits and chop them into small pieces; arrange in the ice cube tray. If you're using mint or any herbs, press them slightly with a knife or spoon to allow them to release their flavor.
- Pour the filtered double-boiled water over the fruit. Freeze for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
- Enjoy with a cup of water, lemonade or on their own

ICE CUBES
I'm publishing this recipe because I'm sure that there are other families who have members, who don't know how or have forgotten how to make ice when the ice tray is empty.

Steps:
- Empty the ice cubes that are left in the trays (if there are any left) into the bin.
- Take the trays over to the sink and fill them with cold water. (Hot water will freeze faster and more clear).
- Place the water filled ice trays back in the freezer.
- Replace the ice bin if you had to remove it.
- Shut the door to the freezer.
- Be sure to leave for around 4-6 hours at least to make sure it is frozen.
- If you want to experiment, you can freeze things like fruit infused waters or juices.

- Place basil, garlic, nuts, and olive oil in food processor fitted with a metal blade.
- Process until fairly smooth, wiping down sides once or twice if needed.
- Add cheese, salt, and pepper and give it a quick whirl to mix.
- Use immediately or freeze in ice cube trays.
- Once frozen, pop them out and place into freezer zip-lock bags (date the bag w/sharpie).
REFRESHING ICE CUBES
