1 cup fresh blueberries
1 cup simple syrup (equal parts water and sugar heated until sugar dissolves: cool)
1 bottle dry and fruity red wine
1/4 cup Triple Sec
1/4 cup brandy
1 orange, thinly sliced
1 peach, pitted and thinly sliced

Steps:

  • Combine the blueberries and simple syrup in a pitcher and lightly muddle them with a potato masher. Add the wine, Triple Sec, brandy, and orange and peach slices. Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or up to 24 hours.

1 1/2 cups blueberry juice
1 1/2 cups white wine (chilled)
Optional: 1/4 cup orange-flavored liqueur (such as Grand Marnier)
1 orange (halved and sliced 1/4 inch thick)
1 lemon (halved and sliced 1/4 inch thick)
1 pint fresh blueberries
1 pint fresh strawberries (hulled and quartered)
1 1/2 cups lemon-lime soda (chilled)

Steps:

  • Into a 2-quart pitcher, combine blueberry juice, wine, and liqueur, if using.
  • Add orange and lemon slices and fresh blueberries and strawberries. Chill until ready to serve.
  • Just before serving, stir in soda. Serve in tall glasses over ice cubes, if desired.
