ORIGINAL DURKEE GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350℉ (180℃). In medium bowl, combine beans, milk, soup, pepper and ½ can onions. Pour into 1½ quart casserole. Bake, uncovered, at 350℉ (180℃) F for 30 minutes or until heated through. Top with remaining onions; bake uncovered 5 minutes or until onions are golden brown.

DURKEE'S FRENCH FRIED ONION CHICKEN RECIPE - (4.1/5)

Steps:

• Dip chicken breasts in egg, then flour, then again in the egg and then press into french fried onions, making sure to coat chicken well . Then place chicken on cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for about 30 - 40 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.

BEEF BAKE "DURKEE" CASSEROLE

Steps:

• cook macaroni, Brown meat with salt, pepper and garlic powder (keeps ya healthy) combine all ingredients except the fried onions.
• Pour half of the meat mix into a casserole dish then add half the onions on top of meatpour remaining meat mix on top of onions and cover. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Uncover and add remaining onions on top and bake 5 minutes more on 400 degrees.

FRENCH FRIED ONIONS

Steps:

• Soak onions in milk for 5 minutes.
• Combine flour, garlic powder, onion powder, white pepper, and salt. Add a handful of onions and toss to coat. Remove and repeat with remaining onions, one handful at a time.
• Heat oil in a large skillet or deep fryer. Fry onion in batches, stirring as needed, until evenly browned, 2 to 3 minutes each. Drain on paper towels and season with more salt. Store in an airtight container.
