Yield about 3-1/2 dozen.

Ingredients

3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons butter, softened
1/4 cup sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour
Pearl dust

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar. Gradually beat in flour (dough will be crumbly). Shape into a ball., On a lightly floured surface, press dough to 1/2-in. thickness. Cut with a floured 1-in. diamond-shaped cookie cutter. Place 1 in. apart on ungreased baking sheets. Sprinkle with pearl dust. Bake 12-15 minutes or until firm. Cool on pans 2 minutes. Remove to wire racks to cool.

1/4 cup sugar
red food coloring
12 ready made cupcakes or 12 other cake
100 g icing sugar

Steps:

simply put the sugar into a sealable plastic bag and add a few drops of red food coloring.
keep adding till you get the color you want.
ice your cakes.
sprinkle sugar over and you have pink pixie dust.
can be alternated with different colors.

3 fluid ounces vodka
1 fluid ounce sour apple schnapps
1 fluid ounce triple sec
1 lime wedge
1 straw sour candy powder

Steps:

Pour the vodka, schnapps, and triple sec into a cocktail shaker over ice. Cover, and shake until the outside of the shaker has frosted. Wet the rim of a chilled martini glass with a lime wedge, and dip into the sour candy powder. Strain the cocktail into the martini glass to serve.
