- Peel the banana and cut into 1/2-inch chunks. Chill in freezer until solid, about 2 hours.
- Place the almonds, oats, and flaxseed meal into a blender; pulse until finely ground. Add the frozen banana, frozen blueberries, yogurt, grape juice, and buttermilk; puree until smooth.

RAZZY BLACK BREAKFAST SMOOTHIE
This is something that I had to come up with in a snap. Instead of store bought buttermilk, I used a substitution of homemade buttermilk which tastes the same. Gives it a nice little tart taste.

Steps:
- 1. In a one cup measuring cup, place 1 tbsp vinegar and fill the rest of the cup with milk. Set aside and let sit for 5 minutes. (this is your buttermilk).
- 2. Place banana, almonds, oatmeal, flax and berries in blender and pulse a few times. Add yogurt, juice and "buttermilk" and blend to combine. Add ice cubes 2 at a time and pulse to break up, then blend to desired consistency.
- 3. Note: If you prefer, you can use 1 cup buttermilk if you have it on hand. Then omit milk and vinegar.
