SLOW COOKER RANCH PORK CHOPS
This is a slow cooker favorite in my family. The pork comes out so tender and moist, you don't even need a knife. Serve over rice, noodles, or potatoes.

AIR FRYER RANCH PORK CHOPS
What could be simpler than ranch seasoning mix and 10 minutes in the air fryer? I prefer my chops slightly pink to ensure juiciness, but feel free to add an extra minute on each side for well done. Try different varieties of ranch mix (like spicy or bacon) to change up the flavor.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 400°F and line a large rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper. Set aside.
- To make the ranch seasoning, combine all ingredients in a small bowl and stir to combine.
- Rub pork chops with 1-2 tablespoons dry ranch seasoning (divided evenly among all 4 chops), until coated. (Store remaining ranch seasoning in an airtight container for later use).
- Heat extra virgin olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat before adding seasoned pork chops to skillet. Sear pork chops on each side until browned, approximately 2 minutes per side.
- Once browned, transfer pork chops to the lined baking sheet, leaving room between each pork chop so they are not over-crowded. Place baking sheet in the pre-heated oven and roast for 8 minutes before turning each chop. Continue roasting another 8-10 minutes, or until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the thickest portion of the chop reads 145°F (medium-rare) to 160°F (medium).
- Remove chops from oven and let rest for 3-5 minutes before serving.

Steps:
- Prepare a grill for indirect heat. If using a charcoal grill, build the hot coals on one side only. If using a gas grill, heat one side only to medium-high heat. Place a pan filled with about 1 cup of water next to the coals for additional moisture.
- For the ranch rub: Combine all the ingredients in a medium bowl and mix well.
- For the ribs: Using a dry towel for grip, peel the membrane (silver skin) off the bone side of the ribs and discard. Generously season both sides of the ribs with the ranch rub.
- Place the ribs bone-side down over indirect heat, cover the grill down and cook until the internal temperature of the ribs reaches 140 degrees F, about 1 hour. Wrap the ribs in aluminum foil and continue to cook for another hour.
- Take the ribs out of the foil and put back onto the grill, still bone-side down. Spritz with pickle juice, cover the grill and continue to cook until the bones start to pull away from the meat, another hour or so. Check the ribs by flipping a rack over so the bones are facing up. Press your finger on the meat between the bones. If there is some give and the meat starts separating from the bone, they are ready. If not, continue cooking for another 30 to 45 minutes.
- Remove the ribs from the grill, cut into 1-bone pieces and pile onto a platter to serve!
- (Alternatively, you can bake the ribs in a 300 degrees F oven for 3 to 4 hours.)
