  • Purée all colors of fruit, starting with red, then orange, yellow, green and purple. Do you want to make a blue layer? Then double the blueberries and add a pinch of baking soda to one portion - this will make the color bluer.
  • Fill each ice pop maker with 1 or 2 tablespoons of red fruit puree. Then 'stamp' your ice cream mold (gently) on the counter once, so there won't be any bubbles. Watch the size of your ice pop maker; you should be able to create 5 layers. And since the mold becomes wider, you fill less red, and more purple in comparison.
  • Optional: put your mold in the freezer for half an hour after each layer. This way you get nice clean lines. Doesn't it have to be so neat? Spoon all the colors in the molds immediately and insert your stick.
  • The ice lollies must be in the freezer for at least 4 hours. We usually make them a day before use, so they can freeze overnight. But you can make them in the morning, and eat them later in the afternoon!

  • Blend all frozen bananas with a splash of almond milk to make banana ice cream. Use a high power blender or a food processor. Take out 3/4 of the nice cream and set aside in a bowl for a minute.
  • To make yellow nice cream add frozen mango chunks and turmeric powder to the remaining 1/4 in the blender and blend. Fill in your favourite popsicle moulds and pop them in a freezer for at least 7-8 hours.
  • Now divide the remaining nice cream in half. To make blue nice cream just add 1/2 tsp blue spirulina powder. To make pink nice cream add 1/3 frozen raspberries and 1/2 tsp pink pitaya powder and blend. Fill in remaining popsicle moulds and pop them in a freezer as well.
  • Once popsicles are ready decorate them with a frosting. To make the frosting simple blend soaked cashews with a splash of water, lemon juice, vanilla essence, pinch of salt and agave nectar. Now divide it into three bowls and add 1/2 tsp pink pitaya powder to one bowl to make pink frosting, 1/3 tsp blue spirulina powder to the other bowl to make blue frosting and 1/2 tsp to the third bowl to make yellow frosting.
