- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the quinoa, and toast, stirring occasionally, until lightly browned, about 5 minutes. Stir in broth, and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer, cover, and cook for 15 minutes, or until quinoa is tender.
- In a bowl, toss quinoa together with garlic, parsley, thyme, salt, and onion. Sprinkle with lemon juice, and serve.

- In a large saucepan of 2 cups water, cook quinoa according to package instructions; set aside. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add mushrooms, garlic and thyme, and cook, stirring occasionally, until tender, about 3-4 minutes; season with salt and pepper, to taste. Stir in quinoa until well combined. Serve immediately, garnished with Parmesan, if desired.

Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat and simmer until quinoa is cooked through, about 20 minutes. Stir in avocado, lime juice and cilantro. Serve immediately.

- Heat oil in a medium-sized saucepan. Add in the shallots (or onion) and ground cumin. Saute mixing constantly until shallots are translucent or softened 5-6 minutes.
- Add in the minced garlic and saute for 30 seconds.
- Stir in the quinoa and toast (or sautee), stirring constantly, for a minute. Add in the water, salt, and black pepper. Give it a stir. Put the lid on. Bring it to a boil and let it simmer for 15 minutes or until all the liquid is absorbed and there are tiny holes on the surface of the quinoa.
- Turn the heat off and let it rest for 10 minutes with the lid on.
- Fluff the now-cooked quinoa with a fork.
- Add in lemon zest, lemon juice, parsley, thyme, sliced almonds, and sliced radishes if using.
- Give it a gentle toss and serve while it is still warm.

- Add all of the ingredients, except the parsley, to a sauce pan. Stir to combine. Turn the heat to medium-high and allow to come to a boil.
- Place a cover on the sauce pan, reduce the heat to simmer, and allow the quinoa to cook for 15 minutes.
- Turn off the heat. Add the parsley and fluff into the cooked quinoa with a fork. Let the quinoa sit for 5 minutes before serving.

- Rinse quinoa very well under cold running water in a fine mesh sieve then drain well and set aside.
