QUICK AND EASY QUARTERBACK CASSEROLE
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Thoroughly cook hamburger and drain. While hamburger is cooking, remove 2 cups of Doritos and set aside. Crush remainder of Doritos in the bag.
- Pour Doritos into a 9x13x2 inch casserole or cake pan. Add chopped or sliced and ringed purple onions to hamburger and simmer. Once tender, add can of refried beans and 1/2 can of mild green chili sauce, then heat to hot, but not popping. Set 2 cups of cheese aside and put the rest in the meat and bean mixture. Place mixture on top of Doritos in casserole dish. Bake for 10 minutes.
- While that bakes, dice tomato and slice onion stocks into little ringlets. Add rest of Doritos and 1 cup of cheese on top. Bake 10 more minutes. Top with 1/2 can of mild green chili sauce, sour cream, diced tomato, 1 cup of shredded cheese, sliced olives, and sliced onion stalks, preferably in that order. Serve hot!
