Time 3h20m

Yield 15

Number Of Ingredients 7

Carrot Prune Bread image

I found this recipe online and altered it slightly to my taste. You can use raisins or chopped prunes as I have in the image. Great for a quick breakfast or snack. NOTE: I omitted nuts because my kids won't eat them!

BABY'S FAVORITE PRUNE CAKE

Baby's Favorite Prune Cake image

I made this when my cousin wouldn't part with her recipe for prune cake, and none of the recipes I could find seemed to match the goodness of her baking. This is almost an exact replica, and for all I know could be exactly what she uses. You will find that this cake is a very old-fashioned quick bread that uses baby food to keep it moist and provide that extra burst of flavor. I am sure it will quickly become one of your favorites!

PRUNE RAISIN BREAD - TURNIPS 2 TANGERINES RECIPES AND ...
2014-10-07 This hearty bread gets it deep, rich flavor from molasses. Full of prunes and raisins, it’s also good for you. This is a must try bread. A must try even if you ‘think’ you might not like this bread because it’s made with the ‘dreaded’ prune. Prune Raisin Bread is flavorful, moist and full of fiber. Prunes taste totally different when baked, in fact they become soft, chewy and sweet.
