- Ninja Foodi Artichokes
- First add 1 cup of water and 1 tablespoon vinegar to your Ninja Foodi inner ceramic pot.
- Now place your black Cook & Crisp pot inside the ceramic pot.
- Place both artichokes into black Cook & Crisp basket.
- Sprinkle artichokes with lemon pepper seasoning (or garlic salt) on the top of the leaves.
- Place 2 whole garlic cloves next to the artichokes inside the Cook & Crisp basket.
- Close lid and seal.
- Set pressure cooker on PRESSURE, HIGH, 10 Minutes.
- Once time is up, natural release pressure cooker for 8 minutes more before quick releasing and opening up.
- Remove artichokes carefully with tongs.
- Once cooled enough to eat, you can peel the artichoke leaves off, dip into garlic butter or mayo curry and enjoy!

- Trim about 1 inch from the top of the artichokes with a serrated knife. Pour water into the inner pot of a pressure cooker. Place trivet over the water and lay artichokes on the trivet. Seal lid on pressure cooker, turn steam vent to Sealing, and cook on High Pressure for 10 minutes. Immediately turn steam vent to Venting to relieve pressure.

- Place 1 cup of water with the juice of one lemon in the cooking pot.
- Prepare artichokes. Cut stem off at base, cut 1/3 off the top, and trim off outer layers of tough leaves.
- (Optional step is to open up leaves at the top and remove the choke with a melon baller or spoon.
- Rub the cut parts of the artichoke with the remaining lemon halves. Place them top down in the pot.

- In a shallow bowl, mix flour, garlic salt and pepper. - Cut off the artichoke stems (and trim leaves if desired). Choose a pot that easily accommodates the number and size of artichokes you wish to make. Place artichokes in pot, flat bottom down, then fill the pot until water is about half way up the artichokes. Add lemon slices to water. Bring water to a boil, lower to a simmer and place lid on pot. Small artichokes will cook in about 40 minutes, medium 50-60 minutes, large 60-70 minutes. Check the water level occasionally to make sure water doesn't evaporate, You know the artichokes are done when you can easily pluck a leaf off or easily insert a knife into the bottom of the artichoke. Do not overcook. Remove from pot and serve with your choice of melted butter, mayo or aioli for dipping.
- First: steam or make artichokes in the Instant Pot as direct above and below. Remove from water when done and allow to cool until artichokes can be handled easily. Cut the artichoke in half lengthwise, brush the cut side with olive oil and place on a heated grill flat side down, next to whatever meat you are cooking. Cook until grill marks form. Use tongs to angle artichoke a quarter turn so you get those diagonal grill marks. Remove from pot and serve with your choice of melted butter, mayo or aioli for dipping.
