2 sleeves Ritz crackers
1/2 cup butter (melted)
1 tablespoon poppy seeds
10.5 ounces condensed cream of chicken soup
12 ounces sour cream
3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Crush the 2 sleeves of Ritz crackers (about 2 ½ cups).
  • Stir melted butter, 1 ½ cups crushed Ritz crackers and poppy seeds together in a bowl.
  • Fold in chicken, cream of chicken soup, and sour cream until well blended.
  • Pour mixture into a 9x13 inch pan.
  • In a separate bowl, mix remaining 1 cup of Ritz crackers and Parmesan cheese.
  • Spread Ritz cracker topping evenly over casserole.
  • Bake for 40 minutes at 350 degrees.

5 cups cubed cooked chicken
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1 cup sour cream
1 jar (2 ounces) diced pimientos, drained
TOPPING:
1/2 cup butter, melted
1-1/3 cups finely crushed butter-flavored crackers
2 teaspoons poppy seeds

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, melt butter. Saute mushrooms until tender. Stir in the chicken, soup, sour cream and pimientos. , Spoon mixture into a greased 2-qt. baking dish. In a small bowl, combine the topping ingredients. Sprinkle over the chicken. Bake at 350° for 20-25 minutes or until heated through and topping is browned.

6 ounces buttery round crackers, crumbled
1 cup butter, melted
2 tablespoons poppy seeds
8 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, cooked and cut into bite-sized pieces
2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of chicken soup
8 ounces sour cream

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Mix together the cracker crumbs, melted butter, and poppy seeds in a bowl. Layer the bottom of a 9x13-inch glass baking dish with 2/3 of the cracker mix. Mix the chicken breast pieces with cream of chicken soup and sour cream until thoroughly combined, and spoon the mixture on top of the crumb crust. Sprinkle remaining 1/3 of the cracker mix over the top of the chicken mixture.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until the casserole is hot and bubbling, about 1 hour.

5 cups chicken breasts, cooked and cubed (or shredded)
1 cup sour cream
2 (10.75 ounce cans) condensed cream of chicken soup
2 cups crushed Ritz crackers ((about 1 1/2 rolls of crackers))
1/2 cup butter (melted)
1 Tablespoon poppy seeds ((optional))
optional 2 cups cooked rice

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Place cubed chicken in a 9X13 casserole dish. *Note: Some people layer some cooked rice on the very bottom underneath the chicken so that it's a meal in one.
  • Stir together the condensed soup and sour cream. If you wish to add the additional flavorings see notes. Pour over the chicken.
  • In a separate bowl, stir together the crushed crackers and melted butter. Sprinkle over the chicken and sauce. Sprinkle the poppy seeds on top.
  • Bake for 20-30 minutes in the preheated oven, until the top of the casserole is browned and the sauce is bubbly. Serve plain or over rice. We like to eat it with steamed broccoli and we mix it all together.

  • Preheat oven to 350*F

½ cup butter, melted
1 sleeve buttery round crackers (such as Ritz®), crushed
1 teaspoon poppy seeds, or more if desired
1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Place the chicken breasts into a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce heat to medium, cover, and simmer until the chicken breasts are no longer pink in the center, about 20 minutes. Drain the water, then shred the chicken.
  • Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Combine the butter, crackers, and poppy seeds in a bowl; set aside.
