Poppin' Fresh Barbe - Cups image

These little Barbe-cups are idea for a ladies luncheon or game night. I love to serve these with a fresh salad and some kind of fruit salad....it's a delicious & simple way to serve up a colorful meal that makes food look good and inviting without going to a lot of trouble! *Google pic*

Number Of Ingredients 6

3/4 lb ground beef
1/2 c kraft barbecue sauce
2 Tbsp brown sugar
1 Tbsp instant minced onion
1 can(s) pillsbury tenderflake biscuits
3/4 c grated cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • 1. In large skillet, brown beef & drain. Add barbecue sauce, sugar, & onions. Separate dough biscuits. Place each biscuit in ungreased muffin cup, pressing dough up to edge of cups. Spoon meat mixture into cups. Bake @ 400 degrees for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and sprinkle each with cheese. Return back to oven till cheese melts. These are simple to make and yummy!

  • Place a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the ground beef and the onion. Cook until the ground beef is browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Stir in the barbecue sauce and brown sugar; cook for an additional minute or two, then remove from the heat.
  • Separate the biscuit dough into 8 biscuits. Flatten each biscuit slightly then press into the bottom and up the sides of the prepared muffin cups.
