16 slices pepperoni (1 1/2 inch)

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 13x9-inch (3-quart) baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Separate dough into 8 biscuits. Cut each biscuit into 8 pieces. In large bowl, toss with biscuit pieces, pizza sauce and 1 cup of the cheese.
  • Spread mixture evenly in prepared baking dish. Top with pepperoni and remaining 1 cup cheese.
  • Bake 20 to 23 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.

1 pound lean ground beef or pork sausage *
1 cup chopped red bell pepper
1 large (1 cup) onion, chopped
1/2 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
1 (24-ounce) jar thick-style pasta sauce
1 (2.25-ounce) can sliced pitted ripe olives, drained
10 (3/4-ounce) slices Land O Lakes® Provolone Cheese
Topping
2 large Land O Lakes® Eggs room temperature
1 cup milk, room temperature
1 tablespoon Land O Lakes® Butter melted
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 400°F.
  • Combine ground beef, bell pepper and onion in 12-inch skillet. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, 6-8 minutes or until onion is softened and beef is browned. Drain off fat. Stir in mushrooms, pasta sauce and olives.
  • Spoon mixture into ungreased 13x9-inch baking pan. Top with cheese slices. Place into oven while preparing topping.
  • Beat eggs in bowl at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until light and lemon-colored. Add milk and melted butter; continue beating 1 minute. Stir in flour and salt, with wire whisk, until smooth. Pour mixture over hot filling, spreading to cover filling completely. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake 25-30 minutes or until top is puffed and golden brown. Do not open oven door during baking. Serve immediately.

2 eggs
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese (8 ounces)
2 medium green onions, chopped (2 tablespoons), if desired

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 425°.
  • Cook beef in 10-inch skillet over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until brown; drain. Stir in pizza sauce. Heat to boiling; reduce heat to low and keep warm.
  • Beat eggs, milk, oil, flour and salt with wire whisk until foamy. Spoon beef mixture into ungreased rectangular baking dish, 13x9x2 inches. Sprinkle with cheese. Pour egg mixture over cheese. Sprinkle with onions.
  • Bake uncovered 25 to 30 minutes or until puffy and golden brown. Serve immediately.

2 c mozzarella cheese
POPOVER BATTER:
1 c milk
1 Tbsp oil
2 eggs
1 c flour
1/2 tsp salt

Steps:

  • 1. Brown ground beef with onion and green pepper. Add pizza sauce and simmer for 10 minutes. Set aside.
  • 2. In a bowl, combine milk, oil, and eggs. Beat one minute on medium speed. Add flour and salt to egg mixture and beat for 2 minutes or until smooth.
  • 3. Spread meat mixture into a 9 x 13 pan. Top with cheese. Carefully pour batter over cheese. Bake at 400º for 25 minutes.

  • Bake at 450 degrees F (230 degrees C) for 20 minutes. Decrease oven temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and bake for 20 minutes more. Immediately remove from cups and serve piping hot.

1 1/2 lbs ground chuck
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped green pepper
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1 clove garlic, minced
1 jar spaghetti sauce
8 ounces mozzarella cheese, sliced
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon oil
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup flour
1/2 cup parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Brown meat.
  • Add all but cheese.
  • Simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • In a small bowl, beat the milk, oil and eggs for 1 minute on medium speed.
  • Add flour and salt, beat 2 minutes more on medium speed until smooth.
  • Pour hot meat mixture into a 13x9 inch pan.
  • Place cheese on top.
  • Pour batter over cheese, covering filling completely.
  • Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake 25-30 minutes at 400 degrees.
  • Serve immediately.

1 c flour

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 400 F
  • 2. Brown beef, drain fat and add remaining ingredients except cheese and batter. Mix well and simmer 15-20 minutes.
  • 3. Pour into casserole dish and cover with cheese slices. Beat ingredients for batter for 1 minute at medium speed. Pour over base.
  • 4. Spread to cover all. Sprinkle with parmesan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes or till golden brown and puffed.
