Planters Punch by the Pitcher image

This is my version of planters punch that great for those summer parties. A sweet, strong, fruity drink.I made 2 pitcher of this for fathers day and it disappeared.

1 cup rum
1/4 cup Southern Comfort
1/4 cup almond liqueur
1 cup pineapple juice
1 cup orange juice
1/4 cup grenadine
3 limes, juice of
lime slice
pineapple slice
cherries

Steps:

  • Mix first 7 ingredients in a pitcher and fill with ice cubes.
  • Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour punch into glasses garnish and drink up.

2/3 cup dark rum
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
1/4 cup Triple Sec
1 tablespoon grenadine
1/2 teaspoon Angostura bitters
1/2 cup fresh orange juice
Garnish: 4 bamboo skewers, each threaded with a lime wedge, an orange wedge and a maraschino cherry; lime slices

Steps:

  • In a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine rum, lime juice, Triple Sec, grenadine, bitters and orange juice. Shake the drink for 30 seconds, and strain it into 4 tall glasses filled with ice cubes. Garnish drinks with the skewers and the lime slices.
