3 1/2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni (16 oz)
1 lb bulk mild or spicy pork sausage
1 large green bell pepper, chopped
1 large onion, chopped (1 cup)
1/3 cup butter or margarine
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes
2 cups milk
3/4 cup water
4 cups shredded white Cheddar cheese (16 oz)
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (6 oz)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
20 slices pepperoni (from 3-oz package)
Small fresh basil leaves, if desired

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 425°F. Spray 3-quart casserole with cooking spray. Cook and drain macaroni as directed on package. In 12-inch nonstick skillet, cook sausage over medium-high heat until no longer pink; drain. In same skillet, cook bell pepper and onion 5 minutes or until crisp-tender.
  • In 4-quart saucepan, melt butter over medium-low heat. Stir in flour, salt and 1/2 teaspoon of the pepper flakes. Cook and stir until smooth. Gradually add milk and water, stirring constantly until thickened. Gradually add Cheddar cheese; stir until melted. Add macaroni, sausage and onion mixture; toss to coat. Spoon into casserole. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Bake uncovered 30 minutes or until bubbly. Top with Parmesan cheese, pepperoni and remaining 1 teaspoon pepper flakes. Bake 2 to 4 minutes longer, or until lightly browned. Garnish with basil.

½ cup butter
½ cup milk
2 eggs, beaten

1 (4 ounce) package sliced pepperoni, or to taste
dried oregano, or to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook elbow macaroni in the boiling water, stirring occasionally until cooked through but firm to the bite, about 8 minutes. Drain and return pasta to pot. Add butter, milk, and cheese mix to macaroni; stir until evenly mixed.

8 oz elbow macaroni, cooked al dente
1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 c chopped green bell pepper
1 jar(s) (14 ounces) pizza sauce
1 can(s) (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes, italian style, undrained
1 tsp granulated garlic
1 tsp italian seasoning
4 oz sliced pepperoni
12 oz grated mozzarella

Steps:

  • 1. Cook meat, onion and green pepper in a 4-5 quart Dutch oven over medium high heat, stirring often, until meat is crumbly and no longer pink (about 10-12 minutes).
  • 2. Add the pizza sauce, tomatoes, garlic and Italian seasoning and cooked macaroni. Mix well and cook another 4-5 minutes to heat through.
  • 3. Meanwhile, heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • 4. Line the bottom of an 8" X 8" glass baking dish with a single layer of pepperoni slices. Spoon 1/2 of the macaroni mixture over the pepperoni. Spread evenly.
  • 5. Top with 1/2 of the remaining pepperoni and sprinkle with 1/2 of the cheese.
  • 6. Spoon remaining macaroni mixture over all and spread evenly. Top with remaining pepperoni (pushing gently into the macaroni mixture) and sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
  • 7. Sprinkle with additional Italian seasoning. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until hot and bubbly.

3 garlic cloves, minced
1 green pepper, chopped and divided

2 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 cup grated mozzarella cheese

  • In large skillet, brown meat with onion, garlic, 1/2 of the green pepper, 1 1/2 cups mushrooms; drain off fat.

  • Combine eggs, parmesan cheese and macaroni.
  • Cover bottom of greased 13 x 9 baking dish with macaroni mixture.

  • Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.

3 cups (about 25.5 ounces) marinara sauce
3 cups water
1 (5 ounce) package mini pepperoni, divided ((or substitute with regular or turkey pepperoni, chopped))

1 cup shredded mozzarella
Optional: Parmesan cheese and fresh chopped parsley or basil, for garnish

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Spray a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • In the prepared baking dish (or in a separate bowl), stir together uncooked pasta, marinara sauce, water, about ¾ of the package of pepperoni, and salt. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.

1/4 cup mayo
3/4 cup Thousand Island dressing
1/3 cup tangy dill pickles, diced
1/2 cup yellow onion, diced
1/2 tsp salt

1 Pillsbury pizza crust
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese blend
1 cup iceberg lettuce, shredded

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400F.
  • Cook ground beef in a large frying pan over medium-high heat, with a dab of margarine or butter.
  • Crumble ground beef well while it's cooking.
  • When the ground beef is fully cooked, drain the grease from the pan.
  • Add the mayo, Thousand Island dressing, diced pickles, diced onions, salt and pepper to the pan.
  • Stir until all of the ground beef is coated in sauce and then remove the pan from the heat.
  • Unroll the pizza crust and press it out onto a greased 10 x 15 inch baking sheet.
  • Bake the pizza crust for 8 minutes and then remove it from the oven.
  • Spoon the ground beef mixture onto the prebaked crust and spread it out evenly,
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of the ground beef.
  • Return the pizza to the oven and bake until cheese is completely melted and the crust is nicely browned. 6-8 minutes.
  • Allow the pizza sit for a couple minutes after removing it from the oven.
  • Sprinkle the shredded lettuce on top of the pizza.
  • Slice, serve and enjoy!

This is an absolutely gorgeous plate. I served a beautiful Italian salad with a cheesy garlic bread to compliment it. The Rotel tomatoes set this recipe apart and add just a bit of spicy heat. This is a meal in itself and a snap to make. I can't wait to serve this wonderful dish to company. Oh, and plan on going back for 2nds!

1 lb ground beef
2 jar(s) (16-oz.size) pizza sauce or make a large pot of homemade pizza sauce
4 Tbsp olive oil, extra virgin
2 clove garlic chopped
1 medium bell pepper diced
1 medium onion diced
1 pkg mushroom pieces
1 can(s) 4.25 sliced black olives
1 Tbsp Italian seasoning
1 pkg pepperioni sliced
12 oz package of shredded mozzarella cheese
1 c water
1 Tbsp oregano, dried
1 can(s) 10 oz. rotel diced tomatoes and chilies this is optional add only if you like spicy

Steps:

  • 1. Prepare the pasta as directed remembering to salt the water while boiling macaroni. Drain and set aside in a large mixing bowl
  • 2. In a large deep skillet brown the ground beef drain and set aside.
  • 3. In the same skillet over medium heat put in the olive oil and lightly saute the garlic, onion, and bell pepper until a little tender.
  • 4. Add the sauce, ground beef, Italian seasoning, and the water. Stir together and let simmer about 5 min.
  • 5. Pour over macaroni add the mushrooms and black olives. Stir all ingredients together pour in a 9x13 deep dish pan.
  • 6. Cover the top of casserole with the shredded cheese then layer the pepperoni across the top.
  • 7. Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 20 minutes or until the cheese is bubbling. Pepperoni and cheese should look like a pizza when ready.
  • 8. NOTE: I HAVE FOUND WHEN GIVING DIRECTIONS AND INGREDIENTS TO A RECIPE, IT IS HARD TO MAKE LIKE MINE SINCE I DO EXPERIMENT AS I COOK.
