1/4 cup sugar
red food coloring
12 ready made cupcakes or 12 other cake
100 g icing sugar

Steps:

simply put the sugar into a sealable plastic bag and add a few drops of red food coloring.
keep adding till you get the color you want.
ice your cakes.
sprinkle sugar over and you have pink pixie dust.
can be alternated with different colors.
