Ingredients

3 dashes Angostura bitters
2 ounces London Dry-style gin
Splash of soda water (optional)

Steps:

Add Angostura bitters to a chilled old-fashioned glass and swirl to coat glass; pour off excess. Add gin and, if you like, ice and a splash of soda water.

Ingredients

Large ice cubes, for shaking
6 ounces pink gin
1 ounce dry vermouth
2 slices grapefruit rind, for serving

Steps:

In a cocktail shaker, combine the ice, gin and vermouth. Shake until chilled, then strain into 2 chilled martini glasses. Squeeze the oils out of each grapefruit rind into the martinis and garnish each glass with a rind. Serve immediately.
