SOUTHERN COMFORT PUNCH RECIPE

Stay refreshed with a Southern Comfort punch made special with ginger ale, orange juice, frozen lemon rings, and Southern Comfort whiskey.

34 oz (1 large box) orange juice concentrate
6.8 oz (1 can) daiquiri mix
¾ cup lemon juice
½ liter ginger ale
100 oz (5 bottles) Southern Comfort Whiskey
2 sliced round lemons
1 sliced round orange
2 sliced round limes
10 oz (1 bottle) maraschino cherries
1 quart lemonade
1 sprig optional mint

Steps:

  • Combine the orange juice concentrate, banana daiquiri mix and lemon juice in a bowl.
  • Stir well and slowly add the ginger ale.
  • Remove the excess foam using a spoon or fine mesh strainer and mix in the Southern Comfort.
  • Place sliced lemons, oranges, and lime rings in the bottom of a round mold.
  • Place cherries in the center of the orange rings.
  • Slowly add the lemonade just to cover the fruits then freeze for about 4 hours.
  • Place a frozen ice ring in the punch.
  • Garnish with mint leaves if you prefer. Serve and enjoy!

I created this one night when I was making my southern comfort chicken recipe-- its so easy and doesn't require a lot of exotic ingredients. And the taste cant be beat. This is a sweet drink.

1/2 cup Southern Comfort
1/2 cup 100% pineapple juice
ice
1 slice fresh lime

Steps:

  • Place ice in large size/deep martini glass to chill and set aside.
  • In your favorite shaker pour southern comfort then pineapple juice over ice.
  • Shake Shake Shake!
  • Empty ice from martini glass and pour drink ( strained ) into the chilled glass.
  • Garnish with lime slice.
